The Boy Book by E. Lockhart
Ahh, there’s nothing quite like a good five-day weekend to catch up on some reading. Though I’m in the middle of a revision on my manuscript, I took some time to check out some other YA novels. As I mentioned before, I have been wanting to read E. Lockhart’s The Boy Book, sequel to The Boyfriend List. My father-in-law kicks some serious butt and got it for me for the holidays. This book joins Ruby Oliver in her junior year, and it was a blast to read. Lockhart deals with school, friendship, and crushes in a realistic and funny way. The main character is lovable and relatable and she jumps off the page. I would definitely check it out.
